Alright, folks! This post starts my new blog that is all about anime figures! This includes statues, posable statues, and action figures. As I receive new figures, I will comment about quality of the plastic, of the sculpture (including how well the pieces fit together!), of the paint (in terms of accuracy of boundaries, accuracy of color, and general aesthetics), and of the poses available.
Generally, I purchase Nendoroids, Nendoroid Petits, trade figures, Figmas, and statues from Alter, Alter-Sai, Good Smile Company/FREEing, Kotobukiya, Wave Company, and anything that is maid- or bunnygirl-related. I do NOT buy Fraulein-Revoltech, for reasons I will eventually write about :).
For the most part, I will write about figures I actually have, but on occasion, I will write about newly-produced or newly-preorderable figures. In these cases, I will prepend the Title with "NEWLY AVAILABLE" or "NEWLY PREORDERABLE", respectively. In addition, if I just received the figure, I will prepend the Title with "NEW".
